Ocean Fun!

Riley and Scott had a great time in the ocean! On the first day the water was warm, but on the 2nd day, the water was so cold that we had to go to the pool to play. Riley did really well swimming in the water. She wouldn't let go of the float! Another day, another battle to teach her to swim, right?

Face Painting at the Hotel

Riley Jane waited in a line for almost 2 hours to get her face painted by a lady that creates fabulous art work! She was so excited to have the heart on her head!!!

The Beach in Destin, Florida

These are pictures from our first day at the beach in Destin! Riley ran down the stairs and straight for the water! We had to wait to check into our hotel so Riley had ice cream and went on a treasure hunt with the kid's club!

5 years!

My Dad put the cake on Riley's nose and then she wanted to put cake on everyone's noses!

Scott and I have been married for 5 years! CRAZY! We didn't know that my parents were going to surprise us with a cake! We both had just taken a shower and got in our cozy clothes!!!

Church Party!

Scott's Pastor from Cleveland now works at a church in Tulsa. The church was having their 50th anniversary party and we went to celebrate with them. These are pictures of Riley listening to the music, eating popcorn, and partying!

Another Day At The Pool!

Riley and Landon spent the day at the pool splashing and kicking the water everywhere! Landon just turned 2 and is as big as Riley! They had so much fun laughing at each other!

Funny For Mommy!

We are going to see Mema and Papa in June. Riley is sitting in the car talking to Mema about what color swimsuit and towel everyone will have! She is very serious about this conversation, can't you tell!!! I was at a stop light when I turned around and saw what was really going on back there. She is just a phone call away from teen land! The part I didn't get in the picture was Riley waving her hand around while she was talking. Very cute!

Riley's New Car Seat!

Here is Riley in her new car seat. She was too big for the other seat so we found a pink one that suits her. We spent the WHOLE day looking for a soft wrap to go around the seat belt over her shoulder but we couldn't find one anywhere! We did find a swimsuit for me though! Anyway, so Scott laughed at me because I had to put the car seat together outside next to the car as soon as we got home. I was really the one that was excited! After putting the whole thing together and putting Riley in the seat, we had to explain that she can NEVER touch the Red button and get out while we are driving. I wanted to tell her that it was an eject button, but decided that wasn't a good idea.

Birthday Party

Riley went to a friend's birthday party last week. They had cupcakes that were shaped like Cookie Monster! Riley had more blue on her face then the 1 year old that was having the 1st cake experience! We are working on how to eat, but she likes to have more on her face then in her mouth!

Riley at the Pool!

After school Riley Jane and I went to the pool. It was hot outside, but the water was pretty cold! Riley Jane didn't care! She went straight in and swam around with 2 other kids.

Dinner at the House

Today we had crown roast for Scott's family. Here are the pictures of the night. Riley had a wonderful time with Meme coming over. She showed her everything in her room and where the ducks live!

The Insect Unit

So the children in my classroom are learning about insects. Riley and I spent a lot of time hanging up paper and putting insects on the wall. The children in my class made grasshoppers, ants, butterflies, and ladybugs for the unit.

Mother's Day!

We had so much fun today on Mother's Day. We started the day at Cracker Barrel and then headed to church. After church we went to Purple Glaze and painted a plate! We painted Riley's feet and hand. She had a great time painting her hand with every color on the table. After we were done we went out to dinner at a Mexican Restaurant. Riley and Scott laughed and joked around the whole time while I had to make sure that they weren't too loud! A clown went in to the bathroom and Riley kept telling us that a clown was in the bathroom and she needed to go but she wanted to wait for the clown to come out! We didn't believe her so I said, "Riley, come on let's just go potty." We went into the bathroom and sure enough there was a clown! Riley said hey and RAN into the bathroom stall!
