A Crazy Snow Day In March!

It snowed around 7 inches today. We all went over to Meme's house to build a Snowman named Carla. Daddy and Riley jumped into the snow together and made a snow angel. Riley got tired of making the snowman so she started throwing snowballs at Daddy! We had a lot of fun having a snowball fight. Mommy was on the ground most of the time trying not to get hit by the snowballs!

Guitar Hero

Our little Drummer...Oh Girl!

Here is Riley playing the drums on the Wii game at Uncle Matt and "Miss Cilla's" house. She has always wanted to play the game so finally Scott gave up the drums and let Riley play! She got 37% on her first try! After a few games she became more interested in the cat and fish!

Uncle Matt!!!!

Scott's Cousin Matt and his wife Priscilla came over last weekend to see us. Riley Jane wanted to sit on the stool that Uncle Matt was sitting on, so Matt got her pink chair and placed it on his lap. Riley climbed up and sat in the chair. When Matt got up Riley wanted to sit in the pink chair on the stool! THANKS MATT! She has "orange chips" on her lips!

Birthday Dinner

Here are Scott's two brothers. Mark and Scott have Birthdays close together so Scott's Mom and Dad took us all out for the birthdays! These are pictures of Riley and Mark plus Riley and Timmy. Riley is in love with the brothers. She talks about them all of the time. When we go to see Scott's Mom and Dad, Riley has to go see "Uncle Timmy's" bedroom. She sits in there and talks to Meme about why Timmy is at college! Then she always asks to go see Uncle Mark and his dog Vixon.

Dress up!

Ok, so we are getting ready to move into a new place and Riley saw the big mess in the house. So, she got dressed up and pretended to call Mema and tell her that I needed to clean up this mess! Then she tried to use her magic wand to make the house clean. I wish that it worked!

2nd Day of Ballet

Riley Jane did really well tonight. She listened to the teacher and followed directions. The other children were running around so the parents came in and got to dance with the kids. I had so much fun dancing with her!

First Ballet Class!

Today Riley went to her first Ballet class! She had so much fun dancing around the room and running on her tip toes! These are pictures of her in a dance outfit. We are going to get her a real ballet outfit tomorrow so she can wear real ballet shoes!

Writing My 1st Sentence!

Riley likes to write her name but she is noticing in the books that we are reading that their are periods at the end of sentences. So, this morning Riley wanted to write a sentence with a period. We wrote, "I am Riley." and "I like Kobe." I am really proud of her!

Another Bounce U Birthday!

These are the pictures from a little girl's birthday party from school. Riley was a bouncing queen! She went on all of the slides and then she wanted to climb up the bounce ropes. This was very hard so she just hung around on the ropes. The video shows Riley and her guy friend from class. The little boy made Riley laugh so hard but you can't really hear how loud she was laughing. She also loved the cake! Riley didn't really eat the cake with her hands at first. She smeared the cupcake on her face.

My classroom

I have had many people ask me about my classroom in school. I am putting pictures on here to show you all where Riley comes to play on the weekend or after school! She begs every morning to come to Mommy's school! We are learning about shadows in my class. In March we will learn about Buildings so the room will change again! The tent is Riley's and she loves to take all of the toys and hide inside with her flashlight!

Singing Happy Birthday To Caroline

This is a video that we were making to send to my friend Caroline for her birthday. The file is really big so we are putting it on our blog for a birthday surprise!

Tonight Daddy came home to make a snowman with us! The snow is like powder so we couldn't make a tall snowman! Riley had to have a carrot for the nose and we used small cookies for the eyes and buttons. We will try again in the morning to make a big snowman.

The Ice Storm!

This morning we woke up to a wonderful White "Christmas" morning! Riley wanted to put on her skates and go play outside. When I finally convinced her that you can't use roller skates in the snow, she put on her rain boots and went outside. She was really excited to make footprints just like the movie "Open Season." We drove to the Gym to play and they didn't have anyone to watch the kids so we had to leave. Riley wanted a cookie so we went to Target and took pictures in front of a snow pile!!! She fell into the pile and lost her shoes! We had to run into Target and buy socks because "the baby's foots are cold!" We are working on the word "feet" but she doesn't always use it! We are out of school for the next two days and they closed the mall, so we are watching movies and playing with our Leap Frog stuff!

Riley at a Friend's Birthday Party!

Riley Jane just got back from a friend's birthday party! She went to a place called, "Bounce U!" She got to bounce for 2 hours and then eat CAKE! Wow! We were going to go to the gym, but Riley said, "I am all bounced out and I want to relax!" Here are some pictures of the party.

We love Ice!

This morning we drove by a waterfall on our way to school. It was really full of ice and Riley wanted to touch it. So we got out of the car and took pictures! I forgot to put on her gloves, so she kept saying, "My hands are cold!" After 2 minutes we ran back to the car and went to school! As you can see she had a hard time keeping her eyes open!
